Guy Fawkes night was celebrated on both 5th, 6th and 7th November around Towcester this year. The editor went to his village event - low key but very good.
The weather was cold, the night clear and dry, the stars in evidence.
From the field before the bonfire got underway rockets could be seen over Towcester and towards Stoke Bruerne.
Graham soldiered on with getting set up, Organising olympian fireworks and struggling with a generator.
At the appointed hour the village descended.
A guy was appeared on a barrow courtesy of Alison, Roger and the girls, he rather foolishly sat on top of the tinder.
Soup was prepared, the BBQ for bangers and burgers was roaring and a great time was had by all.
