The Grafton Hunt met for the traditional Stirrup Cup in the grounds of Leon Max's Easton Neston Estate on Boxing Day 2015.
The annual Boxing Day tradition was attended by thousands of hunt supporters and well wishers as Boxing Day marked 11 years since the fox hunting ban came in.
The car parking was well organised. The improving weather meant that it was good to see the hunt turn out with hounds to thousands of spectators and hunt supporters proving the hunt’s popularity with the rural community despite a ban on fox hunting introduced by the Hunting Act in 2005 almost 11 years ago. The event used to take place on Towcester marekt place but the sheet numbers would now make that impossible.
Many Towcester people and taken the opportunity to stretch their legs and walk up Northampton Road to see the spectacle, many familar faces including local equine vet Andrew Hayes of Towcester Equine Vets.

The Master of the Grafton Hunt made a brief speech before the traditional Cavalry charge of which there were two this year, speaking he said, "We would like to thank all our supporters for coming to see us today and one day this act will be repealed."
The Boxing Day Meet of the Grafton is traditionally held on Boxing Day except when it falls on a Sunday.
Many supporters either go on to follow the hunt or up to Towcester Races who are holding one of their premier meets.
