Idle Women Get Their Plaque At Stoke Bruerne Waterways Museum

They were called Idle Women, from the initials IW, Inland Waterways, most had never seen a canal, after the land army girls got their recognition earlier this year, the ladies who ran the boats on the wateways get their plaque at Stoke Bruerne Waterways Museum. Three returned to the village today.
