Looks like Summer! The Rose and Castle Morris side dance on the banks of the Grand Union Canal to celebrate New Year 2013
The Rose & Castle Morris set with their guests Queen's Oak danced in the New Year from from noon today New Year's Day on the Grand Union canalside next to the Boat Inn at Stoke Bruerne.
An annual tradition of the Rose and Castle to celebrate the first dance of the new year at Stoke Bruerne, the new year dawned bright and sunny and hundreds of well wishers came to join in the celebration.
The Editor of AboutMyArea/NN12 joined villagers of Alderton who across the Tove Valley on their annual new year's day walk.
Speaking to AboutMyArea/NN12 Ian Welborn said, "After the dancing we will be retiring to the Boat to play some music and sing some songs."
