Fatal collision on A508 near Stoke Bruerne

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A508 at Stoke Bruerne yesterday evening (Monday, 26 May).

The collision happened at about 7.40pm. A silver Ford Puma, driven by a 22-year-old woman from Brackley, was travelling south on the A508 near Stoke Bruerne, when it was in collision with a grey Ford Fusion, driven by a 33-year-old woman from Derby, which was travelling in the opposite direction. The collision happened on a bend just south of Stoke Bruerne.

Sadly, a 21-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Ford Puma, died at the scene. The driver of the Puma was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry.
