The three points that have been eluding the first team were finally captured this week after an impressive performance.
Three goals in the first half saw them dominate completely over the visitors. Laura Whittle opened the scoring with a diving deflection and then bagging a second from a solo run from the 25.
On the score sheet also was Christina piccianti who deflected a Lisa Prince short corner shot goalward bound. Emily Kelly and Leanne Hurst added to the total of 5 goals to 2.
Wellingborough did fight back and crossed the line twice once from a penalty corner and then again from open play when Towcester were caught napping. Goal keeper Laura Abbott denied them any further chances.
The Editor of AboutMyArea/NN12 went along for the first half to get some pictures of Towcesterians Ladies Hockey vs Wellingborough.
