The Shropshire Golf Centre tees-up February wedding fair

The Shropshire Golf Centre is opening the doors of its beautifully refurbished 19th century farmhouse to nearly-weds for a wedding fair on Sunday, February 9, 2014.
Taking place between 11am and 3pm, visitors will have a chance to look around the public pay-and-play golf centre’s Farmhouse Suite and its stunning grounds set in the rolling Shropshire countryside with panoramic views of the 27-hole golf course.
Freshly made canapés and flutes filled with bucks fizz will be offered for visitors to sample throughout the day and attendees will be entered into a free prize draw, with a chance to win two tickets to the golf centre’s annual Valentine’s Ball.
Events staff from The Shropshire – part of BGL Golf, the UK’s leading golf course owner and operator – will be on hand to answer any queries, plus local wedding specialists including photographers, cake makers, florists and stationary suppliers will be on-hand to assist visitors.
Gini and Darron Paine, who recently held their wedding at The Shropshire, said they would highly recommend the venue: “We had a fantastic day. The staff were brilliant and everything had been organised and was then executed brilliantly. Also, the food was exceptional!”
Stuart Perry, The Shropshire Golf Centre General Manager, said: “We are pleased to be a popular venue for weddings in the area, and we look forward to welcoming all of those who are thinking of tying the knot in 2014."
Staff from The Shropshire will also be attending Telford Shopping centre for the popular Wedding Exhibition, between January 30 and February 2, assisting brides and grooms-to-be on finding the ideal location for their nuptials.
