Somerset Chamber Choir at Wells Cathedral: tickets on sale now

Tickets have today gone on sale for Somerset Chamber Choir's popular annual Wells Cathedral concert. The concert will take place at the Cathedral on Saturday 28 July at 7pm.
Following the sell-out success of their performance of Bach's B minor Mass at Wells last year, it's 'back to Bach' this year with his cantata Nun danket alle Gott, before exploring an exciting setting of the Magnificat by his son CPE Bach and culminating with a performance of Mozart's 'Great' Mass in C minor.
The choir will be joined by the superb professional orchestra Southern Sinfonia and five professional vocal soloists - Mary Bevan & Ruth Jenkins (sopranos), Katie Bray (mezzo-soprano), Nicholas Mulroy (tenor) & Ben Bevan (baritone) - under conductor Graham Caldbeck for this grand tour of 18th century choral masterpieces.
Tickets - £28, £25 (front nave reserved), £20, £18 (rear nave reserved), £14, £10 (side aisles unreserved), children and students half-price, are available from Taunton TIC (01823 336344) or online at www.somersetchamberchoir.org.uk
