Handel's Israel in Egypt: Bristol Choral Society at Bristol Cathedral

Bristol Choral Society rounds off its successful 2011-12 season with a performance of Handel's action-packed Israel in Egypt at Bristol Cathedral on Saturday 16 June at 7.30pm.

Stuffed with exciting and virtuosic choruses depicting plagues of frogs, flies, locusts, hailstones and the parting of the Red Sea to name a few, this performance of Israel in Egypt will also feature Baroque specialists the Corelli Orchestra and six vocal soloists (sopranos Linda Gerrard and Rachel Marsh, countertenor Richard Scott, tenor Gareth Treseder and basses Edwin Hillier & Christopher Dollins) under conductor Adrian Partington.
