Make Halloween a time for forgiveness says psychic expert

A PSYCHIC expert from Somerset says Halloween is a good time to contact those who have passed over and to lay the past to rest with an emphasis on forgiveness (October 2020).
Mags Heath known as Mystical Mags, is a regular TV Studio & Web Host Psychic for Psychic Today TV on Sky, and she says All Hallows’ Eve is a time to reach out.
She explains: “Halloween has been hijacked as a ghoulish, mass market celebration of sugary confection and evil, where it’s acceptable to frighten people and behave badly. Plus, it has alienated those with religious convictions, but this isn’t the real meaning of the festival and it has in fact been much more of a spiritual event in the past. Honouring our dead and connecting with them wasn’t the freak show it has become now. It’s not about scaring ourselves silly, that’s a Hollywood invention.”
The tradition actually originates from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain – a celebration of the end of the summer and a start to winter. The name Halloween derives from the Old English word ‘hallowed’ meaning holy or sanctified.
In the 18th century, Pope Gregory III made November 1 a day to honour all saints. Before long, All Saints’ Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve and later Halloween.
Mags adds: “It was an event for remembering and honouring the dead, but not in a dark way. It’s believed on All Hallows Eve, the veil between the world of the living and that of the dead is thin so it’s easier to reach out. I know there are people out there who have never had the chance to forgive or be forgiven by someone who has possibly passed over and this month would be a good time to get in touch.
“I am a testament to this. I first encountered my father in the spirit world, I had never met him before in this lifetime. As a psychic medium, I’m getting to know my father from the other side, including my paternal relatives. There was always secrecy surrounding my father, as my psychic gift comes from his side, so this has helped me to understand myself better.
“My reason for telling my story is that I’m learning to forgive and it’s a way of helping me to heal, grow and move on. I know there are others like me, because I speak with them all the time. Being a psychic, I don’t like to sit in an ivory tower and judge others. I hope by telling my story, this shows the human side of our profession, without losing the professionalism of my role as a psychic medium.”
Mags is a natural psychic empath and healer with years of experience.
Her spirit connection started in her teens, although it wasn’t until later in life she embraced and started using her gifts.
Having honed her craft attending spirit development classes for several years, she then went onto attending the world renown Arthur Findlay Spiritual College, where she was taught by top level mediums in Mental Mediumship, Trance Mediumship and Spiritual Art development.
She says: “When providing readings, I link intuitively with energy vibrations, along with the assistance of my spirit guides. I receive information through images, impressions, hearing words and picking up on the aura energy field of the client to provide the insight and guidance needed.”
Mags also uses various tools and methods, which help her tune in, such as Tarot Cards, Oracle Cards, Pendulum, Pendulum Board, Crystal Ball, Runes, Psychometry, Remote Viewing.
“I also have an unusual way of working with the Pendulum, outside the usual Yes/No format. Working with a particular guide, my palm becomes a symbolic map, where the pendulum moves on its own accord to provide specific information relating to the reading.”
As well as being a professional psychic, Mags also runs a spiritual organisation with her husband and is a Wellbeing Trainer, Life Coach and qualified Reiki Practitioner.
