AN OPEN day to launch a new health and beauty treatment in Somerset looks set to raise invaluable funds to help protect children through the work of the NSPCC (November 2019).
The launch of the HydraFacial treatment, which includes the chance to book in for free sessions, takes place at the Rhona Gillmore clinic in Taunton on November 7 with money collected going to the charity.
Rhona, who has been working in the industry for more than 45 years, says: “The HydraFacial really gives six facials in all in an hour! The HydraFacial Core Treatment consists of a three-stage process taking around 30 minutes and is perfect for anyone with a busy lifestyle. It detoxifies the skin, removes dead skin cells, extracts any debris and provides long lasting hydration and essential nutrient support to protect, and rebuilds collagen levels.
“For those of you with a little more time, the HydraFacial Skin Health for Life Extended Treatment is very popular and adds an additional two steps that top and tail your HydraFacial with the Detox and Rejuvenation steps giving you a natural, glowing complexion that looks as good as you feel.
“Our official HydraFacial treatment launch event takes place on Thursday, November 7 from 10am until 7pm and anyone interested in finding out more is invited to come along. Although all our free sessions to experience the treatment at the event are now fully booked, if you come along on the day, we will happily book you in for a free express facial at a mutually convenient date after the launch.
“We are also hosting a raffle in aid of the NSPCC and have HydraFacials and Senteales products as prizes. Booking is essential, please call us on 01823 271 367 to secure your place.”
Every day, the NSPCC expects to hold on average 800 counselling sessions through Childline and says just £3 a month could pay for its Speak out Stay safe programme for one primary school child.
“Here at the clinic we feel strongly about helping raising funds for such an important children’s charity. We’re pretty much all mums here and two of us have grandchildren too.”
Rhona’s Park Street clinic brings together the latest and most effective, non-invasive, health-driven treatments and products, letting clients have access to the very best and latest non-surgical therapies available.
She adds: “We’ve always been ground-breaking in our attitude and in championing new and innovative approaches to skincare that fall within our overriding ethos of ‘Beauty through Health’.
“HydraFacial uses advanced, patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse the skin and effectively deliver botanical ingredients containing nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, horse chestnut seed extract, red algae extract, copper, zinc and magnesium peptides to where they do the most good.
“In addition, the HydraFacial also delivers powerful antioxidants to counteract damage by free radicals – from pollution, sun and stress – which can degrade the skin and accelerate the ageing process.
“We believe that beauty is a feeling, not just a physical attribute, and the results from HydraFacial will leave you ready to face life face first. HydraFacial technology is unique, and so are the results it achieves. The treatment delivers instant results that you can see and feel and improves your skin health over time.”
Rhona and her team of trained and experienced professionals offer therapies that include helping clients achieve younger looking skin, a healthier body and weight, as well as semi-permanent make-up and all the other essentials of skin and body care required.
“We believe feeling good and looking your best starts on the inside. At the heart of all our therapies, we offer a deeper level of understanding of how the skin and body works.
“We use the safest and most effective technological treatments and have sourced amazing products you can use at home that really do make a difference. All go hand-in-hand in achieving realistic results for your skin and body.
“We provide genuine, honest advice and we only treat you if it is really going to make a difference to how you feel and look. We give you the guidance, knowledge and expertise to help you get the best results for any issues you may have.
“As clinic treatments are the most successful when supported by a good daily regime, working in partnership with you, we provide you with the facts and products you need, so you are better equipped to look after your skin at home to achieve longer-lasting results.”
