Humphries Kirk is putting the finishing touches to its plans for its Wills surgery on Thursday, April 25 from 9am until 1pm.
Delivered by Humphries Kirk and Humphries Kirk Financial Advice Service (HKFAS), the free 30-minute appointments cover topics such as the importance of having a Will, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) and the range of financial products and services available.
The session will take place at the law firm's office in Crewkerne and will be hosted by Hannah Keenan and Susan Nicolson, solicitors from Humphries Kirk, as well as Matthew Isaacs, financial planner at HKFAS.
Matthew will introduce those attending to the Humphries Kirk Financial Advice Service (HKFAS) and provide a free 10-minute financial assessment as part of the consultation, Hannah and Susan will then be able to highlight how this can be accounted for when planning your Wills and LPAs.
Laura Staples, partner and joint head of the private client department at Humphries Kirk, commented: "Hosting these sessions is so important for us, many don't realise the importance of matters such as keeping your Will up to date, or why you should consider preparing a Lasting Powers of Attorney. Despite delays due to Brexit, an increase in probate fees is planned this year and we can advise on how this might affect you or your family."
