"I am sure AMA will provide healthy competition for the existing news organisations which serve the Wellington area, and that can only be good for local people and businesses. The recession has meant that many communities have been left with a single news organisation holding a monopoly because local newspapers have been closing or merging together. I am glad to say this is not the case in Wellington and with the addition of AMA, people and businesses have a real choice of news sources"
