Foster Care - Financial support

Author: Park Fostering Published: 5th January 2015 11:00

Fostering is a hugely rewarding career where foster carers make a real difference to children's lives.

Park Foster Care are a local independent agency who works alongside local authorities in finding families for children in care within the West Midlands area. There is a huge demand for foster carers and we are currently looking for foster carers in your area.

Often people have thought about fostering before but are not always sure of how to begin their enquiry. At Park Foster Care we have a great team of people, including foster carers,  who are here to answer your questions and to talk openly about what you can expect from fostering.

Becoming a foster carer is a potentially life-changing decision and we believe foster carers require good levels of support including training and being rewarded financially.

  • Competitive children's allowance and professional fee per week for each child in placement.
  • Generous tax allowances for all foster carers. Guidance available through HRMC

When you choose to foster with Park Foster Care, your entitled to the following too:

  • Comprehensive range of free training- local venues
  • 24/7 support with a dedicated Supervising Social Worker
  • Monthly local support groups
  • 14 days respite
  • Holiday, Birthday and Festival allowances.

If you would like to know more about becoming a foster carer or if you are an existing foster carer who is interested in working with a small and friendly independent agency then please contact Deb Reid for a chat or some information.

We can offer support and guidance on all aspects of fostering so if you have questions or want to start your journey to becoming a foster carer then we are here to help. Please don't hesitate to call or contact us on:
