Roller Derby is one of the latest and most addictive sports to come to Milton Keynes. Formed two years ago, Milton Keynes Roller Derby and their team, the Concrete Cows, have grown into a force to be reckoned with. They have pitted their best players against other local teams in this year's 'End Of The World Series' and have so far remained unbeaten. If you haven't heard of MKRD or roller derby now is your chance to learn about this fun sport and support your hard-working local team at the same time.
Each bout involves two teams of five people; one jammer and four blockers. The jammers must lap the blockers of the opposing team, scoring points for every player they pass.
