Unsure which event to enter?
Kimbolton Triathlon is held at the stunning Kimbolton School in Cambridgeshire. The 400m swim takes place in the school pool. Competitors then head out on a 1- lap 20km countryside cycle ride on mainly picturesque rural roads. The bike ride is relatively flat making it perfect for first timers. To finish off the 3-lap 5km run
takes place in the stunning school grounds, making it an excellent race for spectators and supporters.
Terry Wootton Roade Triathlon is the final triathlon event in the Just Racing UK calendar. At this event you will find over 100 fellow novice triathletes taking part in their first ever triathlon.
After an unusual 414m swim, competitors exit the pool and transition to the 2- lap 20km bike course with its gentle undulations through the Northamptonshire villages of Roade and Stoke Bruerne. This triathlon is brought to a conclusion with an out-and-back (twice) 4.5km run route that brings competitors back on site after the first out-and-back, finishing with a lap of the school field and a long run in to the focal finish area. Once finished, triathletes will be able to relax and soak up this unique event's atmosphere.
Both of these triathlon events can be undertaken by individuals or relay teams. So, if you’re not quite ready to do all 3 disciplines then why not get your friends, family or work colleagues involved.
