‘Me-Time’ & Mother’s Day! Gainsborough Health Club & Spa in Cavendish, Sudbury.

We love March!  Spring finally arrives, the days get longer, the sun and spring flowers finally come out and we are full of optimism for the coming months ahead.

But March for us also holds one of the most important days of the year, Mother’s Day.  

Now we know there are those who believe it is just another excuse for shops to cash in and commercialism to take over.  However, we believe recognising the love and support our mothers give, is definitely worth celebrating at least one day a year.

Ask the majority of mothers what they would really love on Mother’s Day, and most would say - ‘Your presence, rather than your presents' and when you ask any mother of any age what she hopes for her children, most would say without doubt, their health and happiness.

So how do we fulfil their hopes and keep ourselves healthy & happy?  Taking ‘time-out’ or having some ‘me-time’ can often sound soft and trivial, yet for our own health and wellbeing it is vital.  

There are different ways of having ‘me-time’.  Yes of course you can join us at the health club or book yourself into the spa, but for many going for a walk, reading a book, taking a long bath, doing some craft activities…whatever helps you relax, you just need to find the time and find the time regularly.

At the spa this month we have a special Mother’s Day package which we believe is the perfect ‘me-time’ gift for any mum. However why not make it doubly special by joining her too? Give her your presence whilst she also enjoys her present…and you’ll be able to look after your own health and happiness by having some me-tome too!

What more could a mother want…or perhaps we shouldn’t ask!

This is a confusing article. I thought that Mothers' Day was in May, not March; however, if there is a sale on at a spa then the sentiments are nice.
