Melford Church Annual Horse Ride for Charity
 
Saturday 25th April 2015 starting and finishing at Kentwell Hall, Long Melford by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Patrick Phillips 15 Mile sponsored ride starting 10.00 a.m.
The 15 mile course will have 8 stewards for safety & control with 8 check points.
First riders are sent off at 10.00. In groups of 2’s, 3’s, 4’s & sometimes 5’s. The event is usually over by 5.00.

• It is not a race or competition, but a gentle, family day out.
• The ride starts and finishes at Kentwell Hall, Long Melford.
• We accept up to 100 entries but many wait to see what the conditions will be like before deciding whether to come so the normal number is about 90 / 95
• There will be St John Ambulance in attendance/ Farrier and Vet on call.

Income from entry fees and rider sponsorships/ all expenses covered by sponsors so the funds are all distributed to the charities listed below:

• LONG MELFORD CHURCH BUILDING TRUST
• THE PARISHES THROUGH WHICH WE RIDE­­ INTERNATIONAL SPINAL RESEARCH
• THE SHELLEY CENTRE FOR THERAPEUTIC RIDING
• THE EAST ANGLIAN AIR AMBULANCE
