Long Melford Farmer’s Market is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month at the Village Memorial Hall, off Hall Street in Long Melford, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 9JQ, between 10am and 1pm.
Entry is free and there is a large free on-site car park.
Every month we will be holding a free raffle for all customers you will receive a free entry at each stall you make a purchase from, and at the end of the market one lucky customer will be selected to receive a box of produce from the market.
We will also be serving hot and cold refreshments in our on-site cafe, which is run by local charity Project 7
The following stalls will be in attendance to offer a wide variety of local produce:
- A wide variety of locally grown vegetables and fruit
- Locally produced free range chicken and duck eggs, plus Maynard’s House delicious Suffolk apple juice and Posh Pop
- Suffolk Honey
- Traditional Handmade Cakes
- Delicious locally produced Bread & Pastries, using local ingredients and hand-made in Lavenham, Suffolk
- A huge range of fresh cheese
- Locally grown mushrooms, freshly picked the morning of the market
- Locally reared lamb and mutton,plus local beef and pork from Brookfields traditional pork
- Hand-made vegetarian and vegan cuisine
- Hand-made gourmet sausages
- Seasonal game and poultry
- Freshly caught shellfish including dressed cromer crabs, whelks, crayfish tails
- Locally smoked salmon and gressingham duck breast
- Home-made jams, jellies and chutneys
- Hand-made terrines, pates and prepared foraged goods
- Hand-made soaps and beauty products
- Hand-made, oven ready pies
- Artisan flavoured marshmallows
- A range of outdoor and indoor plants
- Hand-made cards
- Hand-made wooden chopping boards made using locally sourced wood
- A range of shabby chic homewares and decorative items
