Suffolk Market Events is delighted to have recently taken over the ownership and management of Nayland Farmers' Market, held in the village of Nayland, six miles north of Colchester and nestled into the Stour Valley.
The Farmers' Market was in decline for a couple of years with a continuous drop in both customer and producer numbers, but all that is changing!
Every month over thirty of the region's very best local producers fill the village hall with produce all of which has come from within a 30 mile radius of Nayland with traders travelling from Colchester, Lawford, Sudbury and Wormingford.
Confirmed traders include fresh vegetables from Keeper's Nursery, Bowers Beef in Pentlow, fresh lamb from Sophie and Tim Gunton in Wormingford, Totham Bangers, The Jam Shed, Essex Bakery, Love Meringues, Stour Valley Smokehouse, Long Melford and Lavenham Game Meats, Unique Cakes, The Farmers' Wife and Nuthouse Shortbread.
All the food at the market is grown, baked, brewed and butchered by the person who is selling it so that you, the customer can find out everything you want to know before you buy - there are no hidden surprises.
