Picture-framing is something that you can do at home for yourself, friends and maybe for paying customers.

During the day you will be taken through the whole process of planning and designing the picture. How to cut the mountboard, oak picture frame and glass and assembling the picture to conservation standards.  The day will consist of a number of demonstrations of each stage of the framing process.  Participants will be invited to take part in each demonstration, using each tool in turn and gaining hands on experience of using the equipment.

In this introductory course you will be provided with a framing kit consisting of a ready-made oak frame, mountboard, glass and backing board to assemble your own 6inch by 8inch photograph.
