Photography by Bill Hiskett, August 2015 Exhibition in Sudbury
Probably best known to Sudbury residents for the calendars and postcards he has been producing for the council over the past few years, this months exhibition highlights Bill's interest in black and white landscape photography.
His chosen media for this work is UV digital print onto an aluminium sheet often referred to as “DiBond”. One of the features of this method, which is combined with a gloss laminate to enhance the depth of the print, is the tactile nature of the ink, which, unlike standard inks sits on the surface as opposed to sinking in, you can feel it, have a try.
Bills main focus is concert and event photography, working at some of the major London venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall and The Barbican for various major organisations, most notably Barnardos, The National Children's Orchestras of Great Britain and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. If you have an event you would like photographed please find details inside the shop.
Bill is also able to carry out portrait work as and when required. More of Bill's work can be seen at www.hiskett.net.
