Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are inviting over one thousand local businesses to a free networking, skills and growth event from 5 – 7 pm on the 20 April 2016 at The Delphi Centre, Newton Road, Sudbury, CO10 2RR.
Those attending the Better for Business event will have the opportunity to meet representatives from key organisations and services to discuss a range of issues including skills, business support, regulatory matters, energy and waste management, economic development and employment law advice.
This event forms part of Babergh and Mid Suffolk’s Open for Business initiative which aims to improve the experience of all businesses that work with the councils’ regulatory and linked services and to helps them understand what opportunities and support exist for businesses in relation to matters such as recent changes in workplace pensions, HMRC changes and workplace wellbeing.
Lee Carvell, Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils’ Corporate Manager – Open for Business said, “We are delighted to be building on the success of the first Open for Business network event which was held last November (2015). These occasions are a great way for businesses to network with each other as well as an opportunity for us, and our partners, to gain a better understanding of the needs and aspirations of local businesses and work out how we can best support them to achieve their goals.”
