A great family day out
The 177th Hadleigh Show, near Sudbury in Suffolk, takes place on Saturday 21st May at Holbecks Park on the edge of Hadleigh, Suffolk. This year we are thrilled to welcome back the world famous Royal Signals White Helmets Display Team. In their immaculate uniforms they will be performing spectacular feats of balance, death defying crossover rides and outstanding acrobatics in the Grand Ring during the afternoon and are not to be missed.
Other Ringside entertainmemt will include The Sheep Show, Vintage Tractors, the Young Farmers Tug-o-War, falconry and ferret displays, The Dog & Duck Show, Dog agility by TAG and a farm machinery parade.
In the education area we will be building a pond and wildlife garden and local beekeepers and Suffolk Wildlife Trust will be on hand to offer advice and share their knowledge.
New for 2016 will be our Cookery demonstration area. Come and watch Malcolm Long and his team of chefs cook up various dishes throughout the day.
The Land Train will once again be on hand to transport visitors around the showground - from the livestock on show at the top of the showground right down to the Countryside Ring and funfair at the bottom.
There are more than 150 classes of cattle, sheep, goats and horses on show; over 150 trade stands exhibiting; the Art Exhibition and Sale; Rural Crafts and Flower Tents and the Education Area. The Food Hall will showcase the very best of our local food and drink producers.
