Clare Country Park Goes Wild, Sunday 3rd July 2016
On 3rd July 2016, Clare Castle Country Park, in Suffolk, will be hosting a day’s exploration of the Park’s wildlife.
This is a fun day out for the whole family to investigate the amazing variety of plants and animals that live in the Park.
Experts will be on hand to take groups on wildlife walks through the Park and point out all those things which we might miss on our regular walks.
In addition to being a fun day this is also a “Bioblitz”, which is a day when a record is made of all the living species in the Park. You too can play your part!
Members of the Stour Valley Educational Network will have displays and will be on hand to talk to children about all aspects of nature and engage them in a wide range of environmental studies.
Outdoor clothing is highly recommended, as visitors will be scrambling among trees and plants and identifying butterflies, bugs and all manner of creepy-crawlies!
This will be a fun and informative day whether you’re a serious ecologist, passionate about wildlife or simply a family looking for a fun day in the Park.
There will be something for everyone.
The day starts at 10am on Sunday 3rd July 2016 and there is ample parking in the Country Park car park.
