Sudbury Cricket Six–a–Side returns to Friars Street, 24th July 2016
After a gap of some 15 years Sudbury Cricket Club are holding a Six – a – Side Tournament on Sunday July 24th starting at 10-00am.
Five local clubs Cavendish, Gestingthorpe, Stansfield, Long Melford and Sudbury Rugby club, ably supported by three guest sides teams are set to compete in a five over per innings game of cricket.
Supporting the cricket various side show activities will be in operation, golf, skittles, netball, coconut shy and darts all with prizes for the best performers.
The younger generation will be able to take part in Giant Jenga and “whack the rat”.
The club will be offering catering facilities all day with tea/coffee cakes and a BBQ in operation, supported by Waitrose who are suppling a Strawberries and Cream tent.
The day is generously sponsored by Colne Stoves who will be presenting trophies to the winners.
Spectators admitted to the ground free of charge.
