Taste of Sudbury is on today with a great showcase, 11th June 2017
The Taste of Sudbury is a fantastic annual event, held in the centre of this Suffolk market town is aimed at celebrating, promoting and showcasing the very best producers, restaurants, chefs and food industries that we are so lucky to have in this part of Suffolk.
We are delighted to announce that over fifty stalls are all booked into the event this year filling Market Hill and St Peter’s Church with a wonderful selection of food and drink.
On stage we will be welcoming eight of Suffolk’s very best chefs and bakers and inside St Peter’s Church you can watch cooking demos going on throughout the day.
It’s going to be great! Now fingers crossed for sunshine and we’ll see you all from 10am on Sunday 11th June 2017.
Don’t forget that entry is totally free of charge.
There will be a limited number of free cotton shopper bags available at the event which can be found inside St Peter’s Church and while you are inside St Peter’s why not enter our fantastic completion for the chance to win a Neff Steam oven, lunch for two at The Angel, Bury St Edmund’s, a fabulous hamper of delicious goodies and a bottle of Champagne.
Dogs are welcome on Market Hill. Please keep them on a lead and clean up after them. Dogs are not allowed in St Peter’s Church except guide dogs.
This event is a great day out for families but we cannot be responsible for wandering children. Please be aware that one side of Market Hill is closed to traffic but the other side is the main, A131 road and this road is open as usual.
Free Park & Ride
The Park & Ride starts at 9.45am from The Delphi Car Park, Newton Road, Sudbury, CO10 2RR. A free bus will be available every fifteen minutes and the last bus will leave from in front of the Town Hall at 4pm. There will be no bus between 1pm and 2pm. Wheelchair access is available.
