Bishop & Miller Auctioneers Vaulation Event, Sudbury, 31st January 2018
Bishop & Miller Auctioneers of Stowmarket are returning to The Granary on Quay Lane in Sudbury on Wednesday 31st January 2018, from 10am - 1pm, for a free valuation event.
After the success of previous events held in Sudbury, expert Oliver Miller will once again offer you the chance to bring along your antiques and collectables for a free no obligation valuation, sharing the breadth of his knowledge on an extensive range of items.
People's interest in antiques and the auction world has never been more popular and Bishop & Miller Auctioneers offer a wide range of specialist auctions with an exciting sale calendar for 2018. They are introducing two new sales this year to their calendar, Toys, Posters, Music and Memorabilia sale taking place on 10th March and Oriental Art & Antiques sale on 24th May 2018. Their established Fine Jewellery & Watches, Fine Art & Antiques and Military & Coins sales are also included in their busy schedule. In addition to this they hold a monthly Mr Bishop's Sale which takes place on the second Tuesday of every month.
Some fantastic results were achieved in the saleroom during 2017. An exceedingly fine cased pair of Mortimer percussion pistols went under the hammer in the October Military, Coins and Maritime sale and sold for a fantastic £15,200 (inc buyer's premium).
Consigned to the February 2018 Fine Art and Antiques sale is a fine Victorian F.B Thomas Silver Punch Bowl estimated £800 - £1,200 (+22.8% buyer's premium). As with many pieces like this the vendor had no idea of its real value.
If you think you may have a hidden treasure and would like a valuation or are considering entering items into auction then come along to The Granary, Quay Lane, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 2AN for a free no obligation valuation. Home visits are available on request if you are unable to attend the valuation day.
