Man seriously injured in collision - Sutton
A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle road traffic collision at Sutton, near Woodbridge.
Suffolk Police were contacted just after 2.45am this morning, Saturday 4 January, to reports a car had collided with a tree at Hollesley Road near the MoD Woodbridge base.
The young man in the car, who was the only occupant of the blue Vauxhall Zafira, sustained serious injuries and was initially taken to Ipswich Hospital but is now being transferred to Addenbrookes and is described as being in a critical condition.
Police are investigating the incident  and are appealing for any sightings of the vehicle in the area prior to the collision. If you saw the Zafira or the crash itself please call the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Suffolk Police by dialling 101.
