Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a head injury following an incident in Haverhill.

Officers were called just after 6.10am, Sunday 21 July by the Ambulance Service reporting their staff were attending an assault in the area of the Car Park on Lower Downs Slade in Haverhill.

The victim - a man in his 20s - is reported to have been struck on the head, potentially by an object. He has suffered a minor injury as a result of this incident.

Officers are conducting enquiries in the local area and will be engaging with the victim.
