Easter Monday family fun at Huntingdon Racecourse
Huntingdon Racecourse is getting ready for one of its most popular days of the year... the traditional Easter Monday fixture.
It's the Big Family Fun Day, with the star attraction Paw Patrol's Chase & Marshall making appearances at intervals during the afternoon, plus an array of children's free entertainment including treasure hunts, inflatables and kids races on the track.
With accompanied under 18s being given free admission as always, it's a splendid opportunity for a very affordable day out for families.
Liam Johnson, General Manager, Huntingdon Racecourse, said:
"We're looking forward to welcoming a big family crowd on Easter Monday. They'll certainly be well entertained both on and off the racecourse. The fixture is one of the spring highlights at the racecourse, offering families an exciting afternoon out at the races."
The feature race is the £20,000 MansionBet Handicap Chase on what is the final day of the 2018/19 jump racing season at the Cambridgeshire Racecourse, though the track's own spring programme continues in May with three meetings including Ladies' Evening on 21th May and the May Bank Holiday Big Family Fun Day on 27th May.
Advance ticket offers for Easter Monday include the Easter Family Pass which, for £25, provides admission for two adults, up to four children free, two raceday programmes and two Easter egg vouchers.
The Picnic Enclosure - to which admission is just £10 in advance for adults - is open. In the Main Enclosure, there are bars, free entertainment, the buzz of the betting ring, plus parade ring and winners' enclosure viewing. Adult tickets for the Main Enclosure are £13 in advance - available online at http://huntingdon.thejockeyclub.co.uk or on 0844 579 3007.
On all racing days, accompanied children aged 17 years and under are admitted free of charge. Young adults, aged 18 to 24 years, can get half-price admission by registering at RacePass18to24.co.uk to receive a free RacePass membership card.
The first race of seven is at 1.40pm, with gates open from 11.40am.
Hospitality and restaurant packages are available at all the racecourse's fixtures for visitors wishing to make their trip extra special. Prices start at £63 per person on Easter Monday.
