DJ Freshold returns to the decks at Bar des Arts

FUNK and soul music fans can attend a DJ night at a bar in Guildford this month (September, 2015).
DJ Freshold will be returning to Bar des Arts on Saturday, September 12 from 8pm to play funk, soul and disco tunes.
Sara Burks, Co-owner of Bar des Arts, said: “It’s always a great night when DJ Freshold is on the decks. All our customers had a great time during the last event listening and dancing to the music and we’re in no doubt this will be the case when Freshold returns.
“There is such a huge range of songs played on the night so there really is something for everyone.”
Some of the songs played on the night range from funk, soul and disco genres.
DJ Freshold has received support from the likes of Norman Cook and Annie Nightingale as well as airplay on Radio 1, XFM, 1Xtra and Kiss 100. He has also worked with a variety of well-known names from George Duke to Jimmy Screech, Subsource to Natalie Appleton and Roots Manuva to Ashley Slater.
His music ranges from bass driven electronica as DJ Freshold to modern Motown in his Crooklyn Static Project, which gained interested from Southern Fried Records, Rob Da Bank, and Sunday Best.
He is currently a resident DJ at UK underground event, Shindig, and his other bookings include Ministry Of Sound, Turnmills, SeOne, Coronet, Colosseum, Concorde2, The Fridge, Mass and festivals such as Glade, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, Waveform and Glastonbury.

Bar des Arts is a champagne and cocktail bar. A range of wine, beers, cocktails, champagne and soft drinks are available to purchase, along with meat or cheese platters. The bar hosts a variety of events and exhibitions, including live music, dance performances, open mic nights and many more.
DJ Freshold will be performing at Bar des Arts on Saturday, September 12 from 8pm.
