Free skateboard coaching in Priory Park, Reigate
If you would like to improve you skating skills or just want something to do in the summer holidays, then head on down to the skatepark in Priory Park, Reigate, on Monday 24 August 2009 for some free skateboard coaching.
Organised by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, the coaching session will be run by qualified coaches from Skaterham, the indoor skatepark in Caterham.
Cllr Adam De Save, Executive Member for Leisure and Wellbeing, said:
The Council has put on this coaching as part of our commitment to encouraging local young people to keep active and get involved in sport.
The sessions are open to any one from beginners who would like to learn how to ‘drop-in', to more advanced skaters who want to learn more complex tricks. And best of all it's absolutely free!"
The coaching will run from 10.30am to 1.30pm at the skate park in Priory Park. The coaches will be wearing Skaterham branded tops to make them easily identifiable.
