Judoinwashington have recently opened a new club for under 10's at Columbia Community Centre. You can come along and try it for free as the club offer's your first two sessions free of charge and only £3 per session afterwards. We have set the start time at the club much earlier than our other clubs in order to try and make it easier for parents of little ones with earlier bedtimes to attend. We offer fully qualified and insured coaching and all coaches also hold an enhanced DBS through the British Judo Council.
If you have older children or you are an adult interested in joining, we also run two other clubs at Oxclose Academy on Wednesday and Friday evening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and at Harraton Community Centre on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm. All clubs offer the same pricing policy. We grade every 3 months and these grading's usually cost in the region of £10 unlike some other martial arts. There is no joining or registration fee for our clubs and no other hidden costs other than an annual licence which is required for insurance purposes.
Judo jackets are provided for new starters at all of our clubs so there is no need to buy anything before you come, soft jogging type bottoms are ideal to wear to begin with. We can order judo suits for your child through the club at a discounted rate if you would like to purchase one for your child.
