So it has been two weeks since my last installment of this blog and we are getting even closer to Christmas.
I hope you are all in festive spirits.
2009 has been a great year for me, and 2010 looks to be kick-starting very well too.
There has been lots of good news recently with regards to all of my tracks with release dates for early next year.
The final release date for the compilation on Audiodamage Records mixed by Full Intension's Michael Gray is 29th January 2010 and disc 2 will include a track called ‘Derailed'.
I've also recently signed a new single to ‘Whartone Records', which is a label run by Sonny Wharton (Toolroom Records). Release date is set for 11th January 2010 as an exclusive release to Beatport and further release date 25th January, and the remix pack is set to come out March/April 2010.
The mighty Coventry based label ‘Baroque Records' signed my track ‘Drop' and will include it on their forthcoming mix in early 2010.
Last summer I did a project called ‘Manhattan' with my fellow friend and local lad, Joe Flex. This track will finally be released in Jaunary 2010 on the German label ‘Groovebox Recordings' owned by Chriss Ortega.
This is very exciting for me as I've been a big fan of Chriss Ortega for a few years now and I've been play most of his tracks and remixes over the years. I really like his sound and its been something that has had a great influence on my own sound today.
Recently I got in contact with the pioneers of UK's house music and old skool heroes K Klass and we are currently working on a project together for their own imprint Muzik-K. I've done the backing track and they are now working with the very famous vocalist, Katherine Ellis for the vocal edit of this track, which is still untitled.
I'm very pleased and excited about this project as Katherine is one of the biggest vocalist within House music, and has worked with the very best including Roger Sanchez, Raven Maize, Freemasons, Mark Knight, Jason Herd, Ruff Driverz to name a few.
I don't know if you remember that I was expecting to start a new project with Mikey Dalton (Big Brother 7 Fame) last week, but this was moved forward a week, and is now taking palace this week! so I'll have to update you more on this on my next installment of the blog.
We have started this project over the Internet and it's sounding very promising indeed.
My big tracks this time are:
Austin Leeds & Avicii - In The Air (Austin's Remix) available on Ultra Records, USA
An absolute smash hit, with all the right elements for a peak time floor filler with a huge vocal from Jeremy Carr. I love everything about this track, a must have for any record box. Avicii is the new talent to come out of Sweden, his real name is Tim Berg.
Mark Knight & Koen Groeneveld - Put Your Hands Up (Mark Knight Remix) out on Toolroom Records.
Mark Knight is a true pioneer within house music and has always pushed boundaries with his Toolroom records. This is a progressive track with bounce in all the right places. Proper bigroom house music.
Eddie Thoneick vs Swedish House Mafia - Leave The World Under Pressure (Eddie Thoneick Bootleg) an exclusive monster of a bootleg.
Eddie Thoneick produce some of the most driving house music and here his mashed-up his own track Under Pressure with this years biggest track ‘Leave The World Behind' from no other then the might Swedish House Maffia.
All the best,
