Garden Gate Flower Shop Is Set To Open In Rugby On 2nd December.
A new business, Garden Gate - Flowers, is set to blossom on Regent Street when it opens for business on Monday 2nd December.
The new shop, employing three people, will offer customers fresh, beautiful and individually created flower arrangements for any occasion - blooming marvellous! The business will be officially opened on Saturday 7 December, at 12.30pm by the Mayor and local MP wives.
The new shop, occupying 60 square metres (with plans to expand in 2014 by another 45 square metres), is located at 44 Regent Street, a prime location in the town centre, with good parking. Selling cut flowers, house plants, dried flowers, cards and gifts it will also offer classes on flower arranging and other fascinating subjects, on-site gardening advice and a full garden design and build service with their partner Simon Venn Garden Designs!
Sue Ainley, one of the Garden Gate owners says: "Rugby is our home town and the premises and location on Regent Street are perfect for the new business. We are really looking forward to living our dream and spreading the language of flowers to a wider audience. Flowers are an age-old language - helping you to express more fully what you want to say, like ‘Congratulations', ‘I'm sorry' or ‘I love you'."
Frankie (the Flower Fairy) continued: "We believe passionately in value for money, in personal service and in using high quality materials. We will be the ‘freshest flower shop in town'; fresh flowers (of course!), but fresh ideas, and a fresh approach. We look forward to welcoming everyone who wants to say something special in a beautiful and personal way."
Aftab Gaffar, Rugby First Managing Director says: "New businesses need all the help they can get, especially in their first few months. Rugby First has been happy to provide PR, marketing and social media support, which will help the business to establish itself in the crucial first few months of trading."
Over the next few months keep a look out for special promotions and new services Garden Gate is offering, that include special discount ‘come again' loyalty cards, free parking when you spend over £15, ‘boys bring a vase' and a variety of hands-on classes. They'll also be partnering with quality independent florists around the country so they'll be able to help you send your floral message anywhere in the UK.
