Monster Craft Session Fun During Half Term
Kids can explore imaginary creatures and create a beast, by junk modelling with recycled material in county libraries and museums this half-term.
The Warwickshire County Council's Heritage and Culture event is taking place on the following dates next week.
Wednesday 6 June
- § Rugby Library 10.30am - 12pm
Thursday 7 June
- § Leamington Library 10.30am - 12pm
- § Stratford Library 2pm - 3.30pm
Friday 8 June
- § Coleshill Library 10.30am -12pm
- § Bedworth Library 2pm - 3.30pm
- § Market Hall Museum, Warwick, 10.30am - 12pm and 2pm - 3.30pm
Coats of Arms, museum objects and documents from the County Record Office that detail make-believe animals and mythical beasts from folklore and fantasy, will also be on display.
Costs for these events are £2.50 per child, £1 for Under 5s and they are suitable for children aged 4-12 years. No need to book just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Jane Commane, Learning and Community Engagement Officer for Heritage and Culture said that: ‘The events this Half Term are going to be great fun and we are looking forward to seeing how scary the monsters are, that children make using recycled material"
