Arsenal vs West Ham Boxing Day fixure OFF
For the second successive year, Arsenal's home Boxing Day has been postponed due to the threat of industrial action on London's underground system.
Arsenal officials spoke to police, Transport for London, London Underground, The Premier League, West Ham United FC and Islington Council before making the decision.
A spokesman for the club said: "We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused supporters but we feel that the right decision has been made."
The threat of trying to move 60,000 spectators from around London and elsewhere without the support of the tube network would be too problematical.
At the time of writing there is no date fixed for the rearranged match, it is likely to be either Wednesday 23rd January, or Saturday 26th January.
