Library grilling for Kings Heath councillor

The newly-formed Friends of Kings Heath Library will get to put their concerns directly to the key local councillor in the future of the threatened building.
Cllr Martin Mullaney is a Kings Heath councillor and also the man in charge of Birmingham City Council's libraries and leisure facilities. He has previously given assurances in support of the local library, which is closed because of the uncertain state of its roof.
Fears for the future of the library led to the creation of a Friend's group and Cllr Mullaney has agreed to answer questions at the next meeting on Tuesday 22 February. The meeting is in All Saints Church Hall at 7.30pm, with the councillor attending from 8pm.
