20 years of the Birmingham Bucket Collection

On Friday 26 - Saturday 27 September, volunteers will be taking to their local supermarkets and high streets to raise money for Birmingham St Mary's Hospice as part of The Birmingham Bucket Collection 2014.

 

The Birmingham Bucket Collection has been running for over20 years and comprises multiple volunteer collection teams - located in supermarkets, train stations, on local high streets and other locations - all united with the shared goal of raising money for local families living with terminal illness.

Sarah Barber, Fundraising Projects Officer says:

"The Birmingham Bucket Collection is a fun and simple way for people to support their local hospice. The money raised from this campaign will help support local families who are living with terminal illness in Birmingham and Sandwell."

You can choose to join one of our existing collections or organise your own collection. On signing up, you will receive a Welcome Pack with inspiration and useful information for your collection day(s). Following this the team will keep you updated and support you up until and after the event. Donating an hour or two of your time will make a huge difference to families living with terminal illness."

The Birmingham Bucket Collection 2013 raised over £12,500. Birmingham St Mary's Hospice is encouraging people to get involved this year to raise even more money to support local families living with terminal illness.
