DNA Studios Performing Arts College Open Day - Sun 20th Oct 2013 & Half Term Dance Workshops

Established in 1995, formerly known as North London Dance Studio (NLDS), DNA Studios opened its doors at their new location with two beautiful purpose built sprung floor dance studios on Friday 13th September 2013 with Waltham Abbey Mayor Ann Mitchell cutting the ribbon.
The performing arts college also have use of the Royal Gunpowder Mills stage and auditorium for their 25 students, but they are already looking at plans for expanding at the location.
The students and staff are enjoying their idyllic surroundings in the heart of the historic site as they find the green space inspiring and are looking forward to welcoming and meeting potential new students at their Open Day on Sun 20th October 2013.
Performing Arts College Open Day
DNA Studios Performing Arts College based at Royal Gunpowder Mills, Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey , EN9 1JY has an Open Day on Sunday 20th October 2013 from 10am to 3pm.
Places are limited so please call them on 01992 768038 NOW to reserve your place if you are interested in a career performing arts or studying for a teaching diploma in drama or dance. The Open Day is an opportunity to experience a day of training for your career in the exciting world of the performing arts.
October Half Term Dance Workshops
Looking for something different for the kids this half term holiday, if they are interested in dance, then book them on DNA Studios two amazing workshops. The performing arts college have links with many industry professionals and will be holding regular dance, drama and voice workshops in the school holidays throughout the year.
Their first two dance workshops will be held on Tuesday 29th October with the rare opportunity to experience a Hip Hop Dance Workshop with Lizzie Gough (from Zoo Nation & So You Think You Can Dance) and Thriller Live Dance Workshop on Thursday 31st October with a West End hit musical star coming to the studios to teach the "Thriller" workshop, this will be a fun spooky affair with Halloween costumes encouraged!
Please note the Hip Hop dance workshop is suitable for aged 8 to 18 years and the Thriller Live dance workshop from aged 5 to 18 years.
Lizzie Gough's "Some Like It Hip Hop" Workshop
Date: Tues 29th October 2013
Times:
- 12-1.30pm - 8yrs+
- 1.30-3pm - 12yrs+
- 3.30-5pm - 16yrs+
They are running three workshops for different age groups, please see above times for each.
Cost: £8.00 each (90 mins)

Thriller Live Dance Workshop
Date: Thursday 31st October 2013
Times:
- 10-11am - 5yrs+
- 11-12am - 8yrs+
- 12-1pm - 12yrs+
- 1.30-3pm - 16yrs+
They are running four workshops for different age groups, please see above times for each.
Cost: £5.00 for 5-15 years (60 mins) and £8.00 for 16 years+ (90 mins)
