The Salon Slaithwaite

The Salon in Slaithwaite is a high design hairdressers and beauty salon. It's been open since 2003 and has a steady and loyal client base. The owner Julieis a bundle of laughs and has created a welcoming and warm atmosphere.

She is also well known in Slaithwaite for her gnerosity and her commiment to charity work. Earlier on this year she planned and organised a ball at the Galpahrm satdium to raise money for Cancer Charities. This included a Slave auction where Julie was 'bought' by a local farmer. He took her to the cattle market where she cut hair for a small charge and all proceeds went to the farmers charity of choice ' Air Ambulance'.

Julie has promised to all NEW customers that book a hair cut in September a 10% discount - and if that is not enough she will donate the same 10% to the Air Ambulance. The high design look of The Salon was created by the designer from the TV programe Cutting it. Cutting It followed the traumatic life of hairdresser Allie Henshall, alongside her lovers, her rivals and her dysfunctional family.

Julie works hard developing her team of hairdressers who are at various different stages of their career, this means she can offer a variety of prices for those who are watching their budget.
