Praise, Share, Welcome, Love, Serve. There is a place for you at St Martin's.
The main service is the 10.00am Parish Eucharist. We worship in an Anglo Catholic style using Common Worship. This is a sung service with robed choir and organ, and twice a month with a contribution from the Caribbean music group. On major festivals such as Easter and Christmas and on Saints' Days incence is used.
The children from the Sunday Club join the service for Holy Communion after which they give a short presentation of the work they have done that morning.
Altogether Family Worship
Once a month, usually on the fourth Sunday, we have an interactive and informal family service that can include drama, games, quizzes and alternative styles of prayer and teaching. The children are present throughout the service and are encouraged to help lead the worship. The Caribbean music group also lead us in some choruses during the service. A Holy Communion Service follows the Altogether Family Service.
We are always delighted to welcome all who are seeking Holy Baptism at St Martin's. These services are normally on the second Sunday of the month and take place during the 10am Sunday service or at 12.00. To arrange a baptism please contact Reverend David Stevens on 0113 2624271 or email@example.com.
There is a Holy Communion service every Wednesday at 9.30am. On the first Wednesday of the month it is a Book of Common Prayer service. This service typically lasts for 30 minutes and is valued by those who attend as an opportunity for quiet, reflective worship.
