Leep 1 and Cafe Leep are thrilled to be celebrating 10 year and 5 year anniversaries this summer!
Leeds People First (Leep 1) are an organsiation with a passion for supporting people with learning disabilities from all over West Yorkshire with a cafe and centre based on Roundhay Road in Leeds.
We believe in Abilities Not Disabilities and support people to speak up for themsleves in order to lead meaningful, active and rewarding lives. We are a safe and welcoming space that provides a wide variety of creative, social and educational activities ranging from games groups to cooking groups, art classes and out and about day trips. Our busy cafe enterprise offers training and support to people with learning disabilities and helps our trainees to gain NVQ's in food and catering. We are incredibly proud that many have moved on into employment in cafes and catering businesses in Leeds with our support.
Come and join us for a spectacular night to remember and help celebrate with the learning disabilities community in Leeds. Everyone is welcome!
Our Masquerade Ball will take place in the glamorous surroundings and splendour of the Leeds Marriot Hotel. The evening will feature dancing, DJ, spectacular live performances and entertainment as well as a delicious three course meal courtesy of the Marriot's head chefs.
Dress Code: Black Tie/ Masquerade.
