Wall Heath woman Claire Taylor-Evans is organising a Cabaret evening to raise money for research into the disease afflicting her father.
Claire, 27, has arranged the event in the Kingfisher Hotel, Wall Heath, to raise funds for national charity MS Research, which helps people like her father David, who has suffered from MS for 15 years.
The evening, taking place on 15 April, will feature the band Soul Patrol who will be performing soul classics such as Proud Mary, Shake a Tail Feather and Twistin' the Night Away.
Tickets will cost £8 on the door or £7 in advance from the hotel reception. Doors open at 8pm where the night will also feature a raffle, tombola and a disco to follow until late.
Claire said:
"I have helped my mum with charity discos in the past, where we raised money for the MS Society, but this time I decided to put the money towards research.
"MS Research does great work in looking into the causes of MS and ways to mitigate the effects which can dominate the lives of sufferers.
"It's going to be a great evening, the band are fantastic and are guaranteed to get everyone on the dancefloor! Both the venue and the band have agreed to participate for free so all money raised will go to MS Research."
To get hold of your tickets please visit the reception at Kingfisher Hotel, Kidderminster Road, Wall Heath, Kingswinford, DY6 0EN or just show up on the night.
