The Proposal in detail
Crow! is a unique outdoor art event to be launched in Clayfield Copse, Emmer Green on Saturday 8 September 2.00, 3.00 & 4.00pm, and the following day at RISC's sustainable roof garden in 1.00 and 2.00pm. Both events are free, and children are very welcome. Visitors are being encouraged to come early to Clayfield Copse on Saturday 8 September to enjoy woodland walks, bring a picnic, and celebrate open green community spaces.
Crow! is funded by the Arts Council and is the work of local artist Jennifer Leach.
Jennifer desperately needs help on the day - willing pairs of hands to carry artworks (large but light), parasols, to direct people from the carpark to the wood, and just to facilitate the event and make it a success.
If anyone can commit to one 3 x hour slot, 10-1, 1-4, 4-6pm on Saturday, and
10-12 on Sunday morning at RISC, it will probably make the difference between a smooth-running event and a somewhat chaotic one.
If anyone has a van to help transport pieces from Emmer Green to the wood on Saturday morning, or from the wood to RISC on Saturday evening, that too would be a big help, on a very limited budget.
