Have fun with SPLAT this Easter
The South Northamptonshire SPLAT programme is back again this Easter providing lots of exciting activities for children and young people up to the age of 15.
New this year is the launch of the ‘Kids Club’ which is split into two groups (ages 5-7 and 8-15) and offers youngsters an opportunity to try a variety of sporting activities including fencing, football, swimming and archery as well as arts and craft activities.
The Kids Club is delivered through a partnership with the South Northamptonshire Leisure Trust and takes place at Towcester Centre for Leisure.
Salcey Forest and Hazelborough Woods will also host cycling camps and there is four days of golfing tuition from a PGA Professional Coach at Silverstone Golf Club.
Councillor Rosie Herring, Portfolio Holder for Community Engagement and Wellbeing said: “I’m really pleased that we’re able to provide a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy. It’s a great opportunity for children to get active and try something new during the holidays”
SPLAT starts on Tuesday 2 April and will continue until Friday 12 April. Visit http://www.southnorthants.gov.uk/SPLAT.htm to download a brochure or ring 01327 322078 for more information.
