Rose and Castle Morris celeberated St. George's Day in the traditional way at The Boat Inn hosting many other Morris sides.
Rose and Castle Morris celeberated St. George's Day in the traditional way at The Boat Public House, Stoke Bruerne next to the Grand Union Canal.
Speaking to AboutMyArea/NN12 Ian Welborn said, "It was a bright and warm evening and we were joined by many guest sides including Moulton, Northampton Morris, Queens Oak, Old Mother Red Caps, Bedfordshire Lace and Royal Oak not to mention a good number of spectators whoe came ti see one of the oldest English traditions being performed live while you they still could."
The Boat Inn Public House is a haven for Morris sides and this is a great annual event.
