Whether you are the bride-to-be, the mother of the bride or just a good friend, this is the perfect workshop for anyone taking on the task of doing flowers for a wedding!
During this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to create a range of bouquets, posies, buttonholes and corsages in a variety of styles, plus inspirational ideas for pew ends, chair backs and table decorations. Brilliant budget ideas with a range of tips and tricks to ensure your wedding flowers are truly perfect.
Speaking to AboutMyArea/NN12 Jenny from Bay Tree Cottage said, "We are delighted to welcome Linda Seabrook, a local florist, NAFAS Area Demonstrator and qualified tutor, to run this workshop. With her extensive knowledge and experience, Linda will show you how to plan and create your own wedding flowers, selecting and combining seasonal flower varieties and colours successfully, and teaching you the technical skills needed to deal with many aspects of creating traditional and contemporary wedding designs.
"But don't expect Linda to do all the work ...the only way to learn is to have a go! So throughout the day, you will make a hand-tied bouquet, buttonhole and table arrangement which you will be able to take away with you to enjoy at home.
"You’ll leave the workshop feeling absolutely inspired to make your own bridal creations, happy and confident, in the knowledge that you now have the skills to create some truly wonderful wedding flowers.
"Cost £95pp, includes all equipment, ingredients, expert tuition, plus lovely homemade refreshments!
"If you can't make this date, we're also running this workshop on Saturday 20 May & Saturday 12 September.
