Speaking to AboutMyArea/NN12 Jenny from Bay Tree Cottage said, "If you think that being gluten free means missing out on delicious cakes and scrumptious biscuits, then think again! Come and join us for this specialist workshop we will show you how to make a wonderful line-up of gluten free teatime treats!
"We are delighted to welcome Adriana Rabinovich, an expert in gluten free food and author of The Gluten Free Cookbook for Kids, as our tutor for this workshop. Using her knowledge and experience in baking, Adriana specialises in devising recipes with flavour and texture, so that being a person with an intolerance to wheat or gluten does not mean missing out on tasty food and culinary delights.
"During the morning, with Adriana's help and guidance, you will work together to bake three all-time classic favourites: a Victoria Sandwich, Chocolate Brownies and a Carrot Cake, learning about the range of gluten free flours and other ingredients that can be substituted in your baking together with simple techniques on how to use them successfully.
"With a break for lunch ...all gluten free of course, with a roulade and amaretti biscuits for dessert, two more gluten free treats to add to your repatoire! In the afternoon, the baking will continue when Adriana will show you how to create Oat or Buckwheat Sables (for those who can't eat oats) ...a mourish and versatile addition to your biscuit tin!
